Welcome to Manipur Home Tutors

By using our website, platform, and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before using our platform.

1. User Accounts & Registration

Users can register as Tutors, Parents, or Students. Tutors must provide genuine qualification certificates and government-issued identity cards. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

2. Document Verification

Manipur Home Tutors manually checks tutor credentials before assigning the "Verified" badge. While we make reasonable efforts to verify tutor identity and qualifications, parents and students are strongly encouraged to independently verify the credentials of the tutor before hiring.

3. Booking & Demo Classes

Parents and students can request a free or paid 1-day demo class. Once a tutor is hired, a booking is created in the dashboard. Manipur Home Tutors acts as a directory matching platform and is not a party to the relationship between the tutor and the student.

4. Fees and Platform Commissions

Tutors are charged a commission on monthly home tuition bookings or must upgrade to one of our premium subscription plans (e.g. Standard Gold or Premium Diamond plans). All subscription plan payments are verified manually via UPI transaction IDs.

5. Code of Conduct

Tutors must maintain professional behavior, follow the prescribed syllabus (BOSEM, COHSEM, CBSE, or ICSE), and be punctual. Parents must ensure a safe and respectful study environment at home and clear the agreed tuition fees in a timely manner.

6. Limitation of Liability

Manipur Home Tutors is not liable for any disputes, damages, performance issues, or misconduct arising from the private tutoring sessions. Tutoring is an independent contract between the tutor and the parent/student.

7. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Imphal, Manipur.
